A delegation of 42 members of ACCIM led by Mr. Tan Sri Dato’ SOONG Siew Hoong, Chief of ACCIM, had a business matching with over 40 members of CCC led by Oknha Hann Khieng, vice president of CCC and representative of Neak Oknha Kith Meng, president of CCC. ACCIM’s business delegation consist of various sectors: manufacturing, ready mixed concrete, industrial gases, plastic, packing, import-export, construction, trading of automobile parts, automobile production, trading of mineral, management service, business matching, risk management advisory, human capital, food product, information technology, printing service, organic fertilizer, tour service, financial service, and others.
Mr. Tan Sri Dato’ SOONG Siew Hoong said, “This meeting is to implement the MOU signed years ago and to promote bilateral business relation between both countries.” ACCIM would like to have joint venture, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), investment, consultancy and others with Cambodian partners. ACCIM has experience and expertise to share whether it is in agriculture, service, or industry.
Oknha Hann Khieng welcomes and encourages ACCIM’s delegate to invest in Cambodia. He notified that Cambodia is rich in natural resources and has a rapid economic development. Cambodia has plenty of agricultural products, for example banana, that can be exported to other countries with high demand. However, the processing capability in Cambodia is still limited. This becomes obstacle for exportation. Oknha suggests ACCIM’s delegate to consider investment in such potential areas.
Following remarks by Okhna Hann Khieng, and presentation on investment climate in Cambodia by CCC, ACCIM’s delegate introduced themselves and what they were interested to invest or what partners they were looking for. Then they continued their discussion and explored business partners with CCC’s members.
