H.E Oknha Lim Bun Heng, Vice President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, representative of Neak Oknha Kith Meng president of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, had a meeting with Thai ambassador, President of Thailand Chamber of Commerce and a group of delegates from private and public various sectors from Thailand on August 30, 2013. The delegates are looking for business partners in Cambodia and also seeking bilateral corporation with Cambodia.

Chamber of Commerce to build a strong partnership. The meeting focused on problems faced by both parties and working towards solutions to improve products to be exported-imported. The meeting also focused on   Education sector and regulations for trading and investment. They also would like to seek for CCC's corporation on current activities to make good relation and to resolve barriers and problems concerning transportation for both chambers, the problems that always occurred related to government sectors such as: laws, Immigration and Customs, between both countries to facility for businessmen and investors’ export-import without problems. H.E Nguon Meng Tech said Cambodia accepts suggestions proposals from the Thai delegates, and now we are starting to work on these points together. Cambodia also encouraged investors from Thailand to make investment Thai Education Sector by opening Universities in Cambodia so as Cambodian students have the opportunity to learn Thai language in Cambodia. Also, H.E Oknha Lim Bun Heng said Cambodia asks Thai government give permission to Thai businessmen and investors to buy all kinds of products such as agriculture products with Cambodia businessmen. Moreover, H.E Nguon Meng Tech said this would be a great opportunity for Thai Chamber of Commerce, Thai government sector, and delegations private and public sectors to come and make business discussion in Cambodia. Thai investors would enjoy the favorable investment incentive provided by the government. H.E Nguon Meng Tech encouraged Thai Chamber of Commerce and investors to contact CCC members in each province in Cambodia to make strong corporation and start exploring business partners. Both sides have exchanged business ideas, shared business contacts and finished the meeting with fruitful results.
