Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Korean Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (KOCHAM) Sign MoU to Boost Business and Investment

Phnom Penh: On Thursday morning of September 3, 2026, Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Korean Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (KOCHAM) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for promoting economic, business, and investment cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The MoU was signed by Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of CCC and Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Cambodia, and Mr. Kim Seong Su, Chairman of Korean Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (KOCHAM). The signing ceremony was presided over by H.E. Kong Vibol, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Royal Government Delegate in charge as Director General of the General Department of Taxation, with the participation of Vice-presidents and Members of both Chambers of Commerce. 
Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Neak Oknha Kith Meng highlighted that Cambodia offers good business environment, favorable macroeconomic stability for investors, and pro-business incentive policies implemented by the Royal Government under the wise leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Neak Oknha Kith Meng emphasized that this MoU marks a significant milestone toward robust cooperation between the two chambers, designed to protect and attract Korean investment.
Mr. Kim Seong Su underscored the strategic importance of the MoU, considering it a historic event in the relations between KOCHAM and CCC. This memorandum will not only help attract Korean investors but also safeguard existing investments.
The MoU establishes key operational frameworks, including the sharing of trade data, updates on regulatory and economic policy information, business matching, the organization of trade missions and business forums, the resolution of challenges, and mutual support.
