On Wednesday morning of September 01, 2021, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) attended the Official Launching Ceremony of the Business Registration System on Information Technology Platform Phase II. The event was presided by H.E Akak Bandith Sakpheacha Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance with the participation of representatives from relevant Ministries and Institutions, private sector, development partners and embassies. The Business Registration System on Information Technology Platform Phase II will include 4 additional ministries/institutions, namely Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, Real Estate Business & Pawnshop Regulator of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority.
During this Official Launching Ceremony of the Business Registration System on Information Technology Platform Phase II, H.E Akak Bandith Sakpheacha Deputy Prime Minister elaborated the vital roles of private sector in initiating digital transformation in business and made some recommendations to private sectors:
1) change the mindsets and work habits in accordance with the era of digital technologies
2) define your vision for the use of digital technologies and re-evaluate your capabilities and resources
3) define your priorities for digitization in both operations and marketing
4) strengthen cooperation and co-creation with the public sector or private sector, and monitor and search for various government support program that are being set up.
