BECOME A MEMBER
Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) received a courtesy call by Ms. Marisa Haruta, Chief Representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Cambodia on January 18, 2022 at Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. Neak Oknha president warmly welcomed the presence and closed cooperation between CCC and JETRO in Cambodia and the continued strengthening relation. In this context, both institutions can cooperate at bilateral level as well as regional level through the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and East Asia Business Council.
Ms. Marisa Haruta sincerely appreciated Neak Oknha Kith Meng for accepting the courtesy call and welcomed the enhanced cooperation with CCC to promote and attract Japanese investors to Cambodia. She also briefed Neak Oknha President about major activities and projects carried out by JETRO and requested for the support from CCC. She also supports the regional cooperation through the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and East Asia Business Council chaired by Neak Oknha Kith Meng.
At the end of the meeting, both institutions have agreed in principle consider signing MOUs to strengthen and deepen cooperation:
1) MOU between CCC and JETRO Cambodia; and
2) MOU between ASEAN Business Advisory Council and JETRO
